Plastic Recycling & Polymer Sourcing

We source post-consumer and post-industrial plastic scrap — PET, HDPE, LDPE, PP, and engineering resins — for recyclers and compounders. Material is supplied baled, as flake, or as regrind, with polymer type, colour, and contamination graded before shipment.

Bundled plastic scrap ready for recycling

Polymers we handle

  • PET: clear and mixed bales, bottle flake, washed flake.
  • HDPE: blow-moulded bottles, injection grade, rigid regrind.
  • LDPE: film-grade bales, clean and mixed.
  • PP: injection and moulded regrind, purge, mixed bales.
  • Engineering resins: ABS, PC, PA, POM — post-industrial only.

Specifications and documentation

Every consignment is inspected for polymer identification, contamination, and moisture. Melt flow index, density, and visual grade reports are provided on request. Export shipments include all customs documentation and SABS or equivalent certifications where applicable.

Plastic recycling FAQs

Common questions about polymer grades, pricing, and supply volumes.

What types of plastic does A.T Global Recycling source?

Post-consumer and post-industrial scrap plastics including PET, HDPE, LDPE, PP, and engineering resins. Available as clean baled material, washed flakes, or regrind depending on specification.

How is plastic scrap graded?

Grading covers polymer type, colour, contamination level, and form factor (baled, regrind, flake, pellet). We provide melt flow index and moisture reports where available to confirm suitability for recyclers and compounders.

Can you supply regular volumes for recycling plants?

Yes. We run long-term supply contracts for South African and international recyclers with scheduled monthly volumes, dedicated logistics, and volume-based pricing.
